In which aisle can I find powder yarn in my supermarket? 3
I have a recipe for Creole Crab Stew that requires powdered wire. I had all the ingredients except powder, and I went to the store to buy it, but I couldn't find it. I'm looking at electronics, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. Have you seen it in the right place? What can I use instead if you don't have one?
I live in the South but outside of Los Angeles and it's hard to find. If you have them locally, Dean and Deloca (SP) sell them. I'll fill it up when I'm in the New Orleans area.
Others are right, it will be on the island. Usually on the bottom shelf before creole seasoning.
I wish I could give you some of what I have. I bought 4 bottles in South Los Angeles last summer.
If you are not on the island, go back to the fish section in the meat section. Sometimes they put it there along with other spices / seafood spices, this is for me to use in both markets.
I don't think the taste will change much if you let it go. I don't know what to use, maybe someone will answer.
