System Lockout On Furnace - How To Discuss

System Lockout On Furnace

Error code 2 blinks Does the system crash in the American Standard Freedom 80 race? 3

I received 2 flash system lock error codes from my 8 year old American standard device, model # ADD100R9V5F4 (repeat or exceed the reuse limit). The problem for me is that the heater does not work when the thermostat is turned on to heat. This engine has 5 burners and ignition on the right and fire sensor on the left. I noticed that the igniter was turned up and the 3 burners on the left were lit, but the 2 burners on the left were not lit (there seems to be no gas for these two burners). If the 2 burners on the left are not lit, the gas valve closes and the flames of the 3 ovens on the right go out. After this triple cycle, the light turns on and brings fresh air into the room. But when I turn the power off and then on, the device turns off, reaches the desired temperature level, and shuts off automatically. If the thermostat sends another active call, the process will continue.

So far I have replaced the air filter, fire sensor and high limit switch. Make sure all air valves are open and there is no obstruction on the way back. But this problem is repeated many times a day. My question is should I also override the manual reset deployment limit? There are two in this model. I would be happy to accept suggestions and support. June

What you change will not solve the problem and will not be implemented. This is a serious situation when some burners do not light. Gas can form in the heat exchanger.

Some nodes have small pilot burner tubes that pass in front of the burners, but I know that each burner has slits on each side that allow the flame to spread to the burners on both sides. They are probably tied up. Visit the link at 5pm to watch the film runners. Another possibility is that the gas pressure in the burner is not correct.

You need to look at the flame spread for each lighter burner. This is not a problem of control, except perhaps the gas valve which is considered control. This is not a heat exchanger as the burner tries to turn on the indoor fan. Low combustion air is not possible because there is plenty of air available when the room is in use, even if it is a small enclosed cabinet with adequate ventilation.

. Do not bring your face close to the burner as you may have a flashback.

Three possible issues:

1) Low gas pressure, LP should be 11WC and natural gas should be 3.5WC. Let's see

2) Heat exchanger and check it.

3) Insufficient combustion air should be 50 cubic feet per 1000 BTU or other combustion air source for narrow spaces.

Another danger is that carbon monoxide can enter residential areas and its consequences.

Ask someone to check the problem immediately to make sure it's not in danger!
