I recently bought a 60xl ink cartridge from HP. There was no difference in the size of the cartridge when I took it out of the box and compared it to a normal cartridge. Is this normal? Is the XL cartridge more ink even though the two cartridges are physically the same size?
Yes, even if the cartridges are the same size, the more productive version has twice as much ink. My advice is, if you print too much, choose XL. However, unless you use the printer frequently, use regular cartridges. The ink may be dry, wouldn't you throw away the big cartridge instead of the XL cartridge?

Yes sir. Regular ink cartridges are made for 300 pages, enough for the XL version 800 (at least with my 564 series).
You can use cartridges of the same size, but the XL version is more complete. It made me think seriously about using recharges to keep my costs down.
The difference is usually in performance. Ordinary ink cartridges use half the number of cartridges, while high-yield cartridges use more ink.
When you look at a graph, it usually says Medium Performance or High Performance (depending on HP's marketing strategy).
Long-range cartridges cost -15 10-15 more than medium-range cartridges.
It seems that my HP does not support 4500 XL cartridges. Should I change the settings?
