What is ESC Off on my Kia Sportage 09? 3
For the past two weeks, the ESC of Warning Light has been burning on my 2009 Kia Sportage. This light does not stay on all the time, but it stays on 75% of the time.
Everything I can read in the instruction manual says that the light should shine when the ESC is working, but it continues and does not shine.
I'm afraid you said it was wrong. No suggestions?

Maybe electronic stability is the way to go? It is activated when the vehicle loses direction or the steering wheel detects panic as if an accident or mishap had occurred.

If the light is constantly on and does not turn off the ESC switch, there is a fault in the ESC system. Maybe just a broken light switch, I'm a Kia technician and I see it all the time. Go through the dealer and they can solve the problem without too much drama.
