As long as it stays sealed, it will be fun. I will no longer use the ten year old box, whether it is sealed or not. As long as the color is not exposed to wind or light, it persists. Leaving it in the sun or heat for too long can cause pixels to lose their power and turn black. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, it should be stable for at least 4 years.
