What happens after 3 months of contact lens solution? 3
I wear contact lenses 2 days a week and I get a 360 µml bottle of Solo Care Aqua. The bottle says I should throw it away after 3 months of use. However, after 3 months I still haven't used about 3/4 of the solution. Should I continue to use it?
I'll change it ... don't be sterile when exposed to air.
I just bought the solution and after three months it says on the disposable package and when it comes to your eyes it is better than sorry!
I wore contact lenses until my LASIK surgery a year ago. I remember that whenever I used my solution for more than 3 months, nothing happened to my eyes until I kept it at room temperature and exposed it to heat. But now that I have a clear vision, I will not risk anything that would hurt my eyes. In that case, I recommend that you abandon your solution a few months after it was opened. Next time, if you only wear lenses twice a week, buy a small bottle to wear within 3 months. Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
