I assume you have a white straight RC64 remote control. This is the way of all TV brands, even if you do not have a TV racer code:

1. Watch TV manually.

2. Slide the mode switch to the TV position.

As you can see, I have just received directv and my TV brand (Ranser) is not appearing in the configuration. How can I do this on a universal controller? Or just can't?

1. Watch TV manually.
2. Slide the mode switch to the TV position.
3. Hold down the MUTE key to press the SELECT button (while holding down the MUTE button) until the green light flashes 2 times (approximately 5 seconds), release the MUTE and SELECT buttons.
4. Enter 991 (the light flashes 2 times again).
5. I turn on the control on the television, press the CHAN-1 button (C up) repeatedly and gently until the television turns off.
6. Press the SELECT button to save the code and you're done!
Try to control the TV remotely.
Returns that sw is in DTV position.
