My boyfriend and I went to Pepper for dinner. The boy at the counter was just like that. And without looking at your pocket, dip it to check its contents.
It was embarrassing and I barely knew if he was joking or not ... so we paid and left. In the car, my friend said he left a tip that he had never seen / knew existed.
Is it wrong for me not to leave a tip?
Ask someone and you will know that I always tip good waiters. Like an average tip for good service. But this guy has the biggest cake job, should he really get a tip?

You don't have to tip. They receive a regular minimum wage. But even if you haven't been offered one in a while, make sure you have everything you need in the bag. However, if food is being taken to the road to collect food, this tip is more appropriate.
