Can cows see in the dark? 3

?

Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.

They are also colorful.

Yes I think you can! I saw other people walking in the dark and they knew exactly where they were going. But then I'm a little slow to answer the question and it seems like this guy has a lot more technical explanation, that's better for him!

No animal can see in the dark, which means complete absence of light. Some animals look better in low light because their retinal cavities have different numbers of rods and cones. Cats have improved scotopic vision due to increased reliance on rod receptors. This gives them less color vision. However, another feature they use is the presence of a tapitum leucidum, a reflective layer of a type of cell beneath the retina that reflects dim light on the retina to give the cells another chance to respond. The presence of this memory indicates that when you look into a cat's eyes in the dark, when you light a flashlight on it, its eyes begin to glow red.

I would say that a cow's scotopic vision is better than a human's, but they are not as good as cats or dogs.

You can see it well in the dark. They also have whispers that help them feel more like mammals, such as cats (obviously), RSCs, dogs and guinea pigs.

Not sure why I'm not a cow.

Have you ever seen a cowboy on HT?

Of course not, your RNS doesn't work either ...

Okay, I'll get my coat ...
