Hahaha, they can't join because one of the carbon will still lose 3 bonds.
It is possible, but carboxylation is involved because one of the atoms does not have a harmonious bond. I tried to put it on a piece of paper, it is not possible unless you add sodium atom to form ionic bond, but I do not think it is Na + C3PO.
